Client Criminally Charged With Assault & Harassment Has Case Dismissed

NEW YORK - March 7, 2018 - PRLog -- In the case of the Firm's client, the client was criminally charged with violating NY PL120.00, Assault in the Third Degree; PL120.14, Menacing in the Second Degree; PL265.01, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree; PL110/120.00, Attempted Assault in the Third Degree; PL120.15, Menacing in the Third Degree and PL240.26, Harassment in the Second Degree.

The allegations against the Firm's client were made by a woman with whom he had had an intimate relationship with, and when he informed her that he was no longer interested in the relationship, she retaliated against him by lodging false criminal charges against him. The client was arrested based on the woman's false allegations against him.

The woman who made the false allegations against the Firm's client did not sign a supporting deposition, and the criminal case was therefore dismissed on the motion of the prosecutor.
