Parkland victims to be inspired by Roslyn Franken's telling of her parents' triumph over tragedy as atomic bomb and Holocaust survivors

PARKLAND, Fla. - March 29, 2018 - PRLog -- On April 12th author Roslyn Franken will be speaking at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida to the class brutally attacked by the shooter on February 14th. Franken, the daughter of Holocaust and atomic bomb survivors who were teens when taken captive, will deliver a presentation about her parents' remarkable life story, as told in her book, Meant to Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles and Triumph of the Human Spirit.

Educating teens about the strength of the human spirit that others, like Roslyn's parents, have demonstrated in the past, allows them to become more positive and hopeful about their future. Roslyn's parents are powerful role models who will show Parkland survivors how people can experience unimaginable sorrow and adversity and still find joy and thrive in the aftermath.

Roslyn will share the meaningful life lessons learned from her parents' experiences to inspire the Parkland students with a greater spirit of hope, resiliency, compassion, inner-strength, appreciation and tolerance to better their lives and help make our world a better place.
