Both distillery events promise a full day of fun, fine Kentucky bourbon and much more.

Limestone Branch KY Craft Spirits Festival

This new free-admission event, taking place 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on the grounds at Limestone Branch Distillery, brings together some of the best in craft bourbon distilling, craft beer making and craft winemaking.

"I'm very excited to host the next generation of Kentucky distilleries," said Limestone Branch distiller Steve Beam, who originated the idea.

Showcasing 12 distilleries, two wineries and two breweries, the festival is the first of its kind to have this variety of bourbon, beer and wine in one location.

Exhibitors include Barrel House Distilling Company, Bluegrass Distillers, Boone County Distilling Co., Casey Jones Distillery, Hartfield & Co., Jeptha Creed Distillery, Kentucky Artisan Distillery, Limestone Branch Distillery, MB Roland Distillery, The Neeley Family Distillery, Old Pogue Distillery and Wilderness Trail Distillery. Country Boy Brewing and Flywheel Brewing as well as Equus Run Vineyards and Jesters Winery & Café will also exhibit.

Handcrafted bourbon cocktails plus craft wine and beer will be available for purchase and there will be live music and food vendors, including barbecue.

Parking is free on the grounds. Limestone Branch Distillery is located at 1280 Veterans Memorial Highway in Lebanon. Information: Limestone Branch Distillery Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/limestonebranchdistillery/?rf=145...).

A family-friendly festival, it is known for bringing together some of the finest handpicked arts-and-craft vendors to show their works. Before or after browsing the booths, attendees can see firsthand how world-famous Maker's Mark bourbon is made and dip a souvenir bottle into Maker's signature red wax.

Parking is free on the grounds. Maker's Mark Distillery is located on Bill Samuels Jr. Road in Loretto. Information: www.MakersMark.com.

With both festivals providing a full day's worth of fun and entertainment, plan to extend your visit to explore other Lebanon attractions.
