Epic Pipeline Announces Completion Of Phase One Of Its 700-mile Pipeline From The Permian Basin To Corpus Christi, TexasBy: EPIC Y Grade Pipeline, LP NGL product was introduced to the pipeline on March 12. Phase Two is currently under construction with an expected in-service date of June 2018. Phase Three is expected to be complete in the second half of 2019. When complete, the EPIC NGL pipeline will have a throughput capacity of 350,000 barrels per day with multiple origin points in the Delaware and Midland Basins. The pipeline will have origination points near Orla and Benedum with a destination in Corpus Christi, Texas. At the terminus of the pipeline, EPIC is building a fractionation complex to accommodate the pipeline's volume. EPIC is also building a purity product pipeline distribution system, including an ethane pipeline to the Markham area. EPIC began construction of the NGL pipeline in December of 2017 after signing a definitive agreement with BP Energy Company to anchor the 700-mile NGL pipeline to link producers' NGL reserves in the Permian and Eagle Ford Basins to Gulf Coast refiners, petrochemical companies and export markets. EPIC completed a FERC open season earlier this month to offer interested shippers an opportunity to secure firm capacity on the EPIC NGL Pipeline. EPIC secured a capital commitment last year from funds managed by Ares Management, L.P. Since then, work has been underway on the NGL Pipeline which runs side-by-side with the previously announced EPIC Crude Oil Pipeline. More information at www.epicmid.com End
