CARSON CITY, Nev. - April 13, 2018 - PRLog -- The Western Nevada FC Coyotes travel to Oregon this weekend to take on a Wild West Conference foe. Southern Oregon Starphire FC enter the game with a 1-1-2 record standing with 4 points in the league. Western Nevada FC Coyotes after the huge win last weekend stand 3-0 with 9 points. The team is well aware that every game in the conference is critical to staying at the top of the table. The Coyotes heading into the game this weekend also have two games in hand compared to the clubs siting above them in the table standing. Up to this point in the season, the Coyotes have been out working their opponents in every match and plan to up the fast and furious soccer that they like to play Saturday Night. This means the team will come out Saturday night flying around to every ball making every second of the game difficult for Starphire FC.

GM and Head Coach Ian Hill has this to say about the upcoming league match, "Starphire FC is a much better team than the record may indicate. They are well coached, well organized on the pitch and have a great defense, I expect a massive battle and we will have to play our best to get out with the W." Coach Hill week in and week out is demanding more and more from the team as they work each week to stay hot in the league.

Goal Keeper David Booth has been stellar in the net up to this point in the season. This is what he looks for in the upcoming match, "We know that they will be a very well organized and strong defensive outfit so we are going to need our attacking players to have another great game like they did against victory. Starphire have only conceded 4 goals in 4 games, and in this league that is quite impressive. The key to us unlocking their defense will be in our attacking runs and off the ball movement to make sure we get their defenders moving and out of shape." David is all focused on keeping his defense in line and disciplined. The team has taken a lot of pride on the defensive end of the ball so far this season and look to continue it Saturday night.

Salifu Jatta up to this point has been the team's leading scorer. He has tallied 5 goals for the team and looks to continue his form Saturday night. "I think we will be ready and prepared to go from the very first minute. We are starting to dominate games and I think this weekend it will show." Many players have also played a critical role in the attack with Michael Cole who has scored 3 goals for the team while the assist leader Nick Tunic, has 3 on the year.

The Coyotes have every game seen new players stepping up, giving them a real advantage when other teams try to scout them. This depth is keeping players fresh and also the training sessions up beat. The team is staying focused in trainings and continue to push one another for more success.

If you are unable to make it out to the match, the game will also be live streamed. The link can be found on the teams Facebook page titled "Western Nevada FC." Be sure to shoot the page a like when visiting to show support to the boys.
