Wolves FC Head Coach Felipe Bernal said, "Saturday's match versus San Diego will be a good test for us and the timing for this game is perfect. ASC is having a good season and we need this game to mentally and physically prepare for our first round match this coming Wednesday versus FC Golden State Force in the 2018 Open Cup. We look forward to a tough game against ASC." L.A. Wolves FC, coached by Felipe Bernal, defeated Ontario Fury II (UPSL), 3-0, in its most recent league game on Sunday, April 29. Currently second in the United Premier Soccer League Pro Premier Western Conference, L.A. Wolves FC (5-1-0 in UPSL) has won three consecutive league games, and next plays FC Golden State Force in a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup First Round Game on Wednesday, May 9. ASC San Diego (4-1-1 in NPSL) has scored 15 goals and allowed seven goals against and currently sits atop the Southwest Conference Division.
