Announcing The Great British Ball

SINGAPORE - June 27, 2018 - PRLog -- In previous years, both the British Chamber of Commerce and The British Club have run separate grand annual parties – The BritCham Ball and The Best of British Ball respectively. This year's collaboration aims to embrace the traditional British Christmas, while bringing the British community in Singapore together during this festive season.

The evening will kick off with a performance from the Gurkha Contingent Pipes & Drums, welcoming guests to live Christmas carols performed by a local choir and a Champagne reception. Throughout the evening, guests will be able to view and sample produce and products from the British Isle at the traditional Christmas Market, bringing British Christmas and traditions to Singapore. There will also be an opportunity to participate in a silent auction, which will run alongside a live raffle.

Theme  Celebration of all things British
The Event  Up to 600 guests (members and public) are expected for this collaboration by The British Chamber of Commerce and The British Club. A Christmas market setting will showcase British produce and products to recreate a classic British atmosphere in tropical Singapore.
The Band  Simon and Kalli have been in Singapore for over 15 years. After performing in a pub band together, the idea for a single touchpoint for entertainment was born. Today, Band On The Run is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary - 10 years of making music and mayhem and most importantly...making people dance!
