Radio Personality Mark Farrell To Emcee Gala Celebrating 125th Anniversary Of Helen Keller Services

BROOKLYN, N.Y. - July 30, 2018 - PRLog -- New York City radio host and on-air personality Mark Farrell will serve as emcee of Helen Keller Services' 125^th Anniversary Gala on September 13^th, 2018, at Liberty Warehouse in Red Hook, Brooklyn.  Farrell, whose field of vision is impaired due to congenital retinoschisis, is also a motivational speaker on overcoming adversity.  Helen Keller Services (HKS) serves individuals who are blind, visually-impaired, deaf-blind or have combined hearing-vision loss.  The announcement of Farrell serving as emcee was made by HKS President and CEO Joseph Bruno.

With a long and impressive history in radio, Farrell currently hosts a popular talk show on the highly-rated Progressive Radio Network (PRN) and is a weekend personality on 107.1 WWZY.  Additionally, through Mark Farrell Motivation, he speaks and presents to a variety of audiences on critical life skill topics, including overcoming adversity, understanding disabilities, anti-bullying, and celebrating differences.

According to Bruno, the new 44,000-square-foot headquarters at 180 Livingston Street will meet the needs of clients and staff alike.  Founded in 1893, Helen Keller Services offers services and programs through two divisions: Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults and Helen Keller Services for the Blind.
