Rapper PUREP-618 releases new single 'Come Back'

ST. LOUIS - Aug. 25, 2018 - PRLog -- The rapper and producer known as PUREP-618 has released his latest single, "Come Back." PUREP-618 cites as main artistic influences Jay Z, Marvin Gaye, Tupac Shakur and India Arie. His own sound takes the old-school East Coast sound and blends it with his own, up-front style of delivery for a mix that is unique to him yet exciting for fans of all categories of hip hop.

PUREP-618 (born B. Williams) was raised on gospel, blues, hip hop and R&B. When not writing music, recording or performing, PUREP pens poetry and listens to jazz. His career in music began at a young age when his parents asked him what he wanted for Christmas. "I want to make a song," he replied. Not long after, a music producer showed PUREP-618 into the studio and his debut single, "Life," was born.

Previous releases from PUREP-618 include "Thanna Thangs" and "Da City." He has appeared live at such venues as Club Casino, The Oz and The Illusion. PUREP-618 is attending university for a Bachelor's Degree in audio production.
