Media Advisory: The Beacon Historical Society Hosts 2nd Annual Ghost Tour

BEACON, N.Y. - Sept. 4, 2018 - PRLog -- The Beacon Historical Society is pleased to announce their second annual ghost tour. The Ghost In The Mist tour will be offered every Saturday throughout the month of October.

Join the Beacon Historical Society as four ghostly spirits will lead you by lantern-light, through the streets of Beacon. Learn about the local lore, legends, and ghostly tales of haunted places, as out ghostly spirits share over 300 years of Beacon's history.

The tour will begin at the Veteran's Memorial Hall Building with a poem entitled the "Ghost of Matteawan". The tour takes approximately one hour, over a half mile of uneven terrain. Ghost Tour tickets are $18 for adults/$15 for children 8 years and older and  $15 for seniors and members of the Society. There will be four (4) tours each night.

The Ghost In The Mist Tours will meet  every Saturday in October, starting at 7:00 pm:
