Henry Benefield Joins Byron Cage Concert Lineup

CINCINNATI - Sept. 7, 2018 - PRLog -- Lee Chapel AME Church announced The BIG News Headline for  the 120^th Anniversary Concert featuring the world renowned "Prince of Praise" International Gospel Recording Artist, Byron Cage (The Spirit of the Lord is Here).  The exciting lineup will include Henry Benefield, RaMeco Lattimore & True Worship Chorale, The Men of Faith, and The Southern Baptist Church & Family Mass Choir.  The concert will be at Allen Temple AME Church, 7030 Reading Road in Cincinnati on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 7PM. The Worship Leader is P. Ann Everson Price.  There will be a Pre-Show VIP Reception/Meet & Greet with Selfie Photo Ops with the Star before the concert at 6PM. VIP Tickets for Preferred Seating and the VIP Reception are $50; General Admission Tickets are $25.

The concert is part of Lee Chapel's year- long celebration of 120 years of ministry and community service in O'Bryonville, Evanston and Walnut Hills and they are inviting the Greater Cincinnati Community to join in the celebration.  Led by Pastor Kevin Cooper, the Anniversary theme is Remembering our Past and Reveling in Our Future, based on the theme scripture Joshua 4:20-24.

Henry Benefield is a singer and a composer singing such songs as "I Will", "To Save Some Soul Today", "Miracles", "Until Then I'll Wait Here", "Thank You",  "There Is Work To Do", "Glad To Be Here To Say", "It's Time To Have A   Little Talk", and "What Is This".  First of all he sings for the Glory of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Henry has toured with artists including Patti LaBelle, Reggie Calloway, Bootsy Collins and the Rubber Band.  He has appeared with Diana Ross, Weather Girls, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, John P. Kee, Kurt Franklin, Ben Tankard, Brad Little of the Phantom of the Opera, Chicago Sympathy Orchestra, The Cincinnati Ballet and Philip Bailey.  He has also performed on projects such as Teddy Pendergrass Christmas CD, William Bootsy Collins singing to "God Be The Glory", Reggie Calloway's gospel project "Throw Your Hands Up", Edwin & Walter Hawkins Music and Arts Seminar Projects.  Henry has performed in venues in Germany, Japan, Paris, France, and all over the United States.

Henry Benefield is an original member of Phil Brown & God's Earth With Love.  Henry is the brain child for the organization LEVEL, "Let Every Vessel Enjoy Life", and Chairman of The One Hundred Plus African American Men Chorus which once a year does a musical presentation that raises monies to send underprivileged youth on the National Black College Tour.

Henry has a vocal range from Bass to First Soprano and has a new musical CD coming soon.  He is known for being "Creative, Motivating, Captivating and Creates Excitement that Words Cannot Express".
