Free Bereavement Support for Youth in Clark County

VANCOUVER, Wash. - Jan. 29, 2019 - PRLog -- Community Home Health & Hospice is now offering on-going, free, grief support groups in Clark County for youth ages 5-17 at the new Seasons of Hope Grief Center, 3102 NE 134^th St. in Vancouver. Meetings will be the 1^st and 3^rd Thursdays of the month from 6 pm – 7:30 pm from October through August. Groups will be split by age groups: Children (Ages 5-10), Pre-Teen (Ages 11-13), Teen (Ages 14-17) with a parents group meeting simultaneously.

"It's so good to understand grief. That I am not the only one who has experienced this. It's important that the grief group is there," said Cynthia, grief group attendee. These services can help children and teens learn how to share their feelings and cope with grief and loss.
