Wild Wolf Brewing Co. receives Virginia Green Partner of the Year

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - May 1, 2019 - PRLog -- Wild Wolf Brewing Company is excited to announce that it was presented the Virginia Green Travel Star Award - Green Travel Partner of the Year award for their outstanding commitment to sustainability and contributions to green tourism at the 6th annual Virginia Green Travel Conference and Travel Star Awards Celebration.

"Wild Wolf is committed to leading the industry in minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment", stated Mary Wolf. "And we strive to foster green initiatives with others".

Wild Wolf has been awarded Virginia's Green Brewery for three consecutive years starting in 2015, along with receiving the Governor's Environmental Excellence Gold Medal in 2018. Danny Wolf, co-founder, and brewmaster of Wild Wolf Brewing Company is the driving force behind the success of their green program. Danny is keenly focused on continuous improvement and is always creating innovative ways to reduce Wild Wolf's footprint. Wild Wolf's new location in Charlottesville will open in late May and will be equally focused on green initiatives.

Wild Wolf Brewing Company is one of just a few mother-son breweries in the country.  The original location is a 10000+ square foot facility situated on ten acres in the heart of Nellysford, VA. The property features a brewpub, housed in a 10+-year-old repurposed schoolhouse, with a new addition that houses the brewery and sports bar. Five auxiliary tobacco barns have been converted into a merch shop and the Event Center. Brewmaster Danny Wolf works with his team daily to create fresh batches of Primal Instinct, Blonde Hunny, Area 151 and a variety of innovative seasonal and specialty beers. Wild Wolf is proud to be Virginia Green certified and is constantly exploring new ways to reduce its environmental impact. Going green is not an ancillary project for Wild Wolf; it is a driving force of its philosophy and operations. Wild Wolf's original location in Nelson County is open daily from 11:30 am to 10 pm, 11:30 am to 11 pm on Friday and Saturday, and 11 am to 10 pm on Sunday and serves a full menu as well as brunch on Sundays, 11 am – 2 pm.
