Roslyn Franken is the author of Meant to Be: A True Story of Might, Miracles and Triumph of the Human Spirit. She wrote the book to tell the world about her parents' story as Holocaust and Nagasaki atomic bomb survivors. Her father survived the Nagasaki atomic bomb. Her mother was in Auschwitz. She reveals how after witnessing and experiencing the worst of humanity and dangers of hate first-hand, they found everlasting love and made a beautiful life despite the horrors of their pasts, against all odds. After writing the book, Roslyn took the story from the page to the stage with a multimedia stage presentation. She now travels across North America telling her parents' story to diverse audiences of all ages and backgrounds from students to seniors, different faith-based groups to community organizations, corporations, and more.
