Corporate Attorney Angela Kwok Joins Royse Law Firm

MENLO PARK, Calif. - June 18, 2019 - PRLog -- "We are delighted to welcome attorney Angela Kwok to our team," said Roger Royse, founder of Royse Law Firm. "Angela's international experience makes her the ideal head of our China practice." Kwok will practice in Royse Law Firm's Menlo Park office.

Angela Kwok received her LL.M. in US taxation from New York University School of Law in 2003 and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2002. Kwok specializes in general corporate and commercial matters, especially focusing on venture capital financing, fund formation, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions and related tax matters. She also serves clients in the blockchain industry.

Kwok has extensive legal, securities regulation, compliance and tax experience. Prior to joining Royse Law Firm, she worked with an international law firm, advising startups and founders on business structures, entity formations and VC financings. Before that, she was an in-house legal counsel at a VC fund, CBC Capital, managing legal matters with respect to various stages of funds and their investment portfolios in the high tech sector in both PRC and US markets. Prior to CBC Capital, Kwok worked at the Big Four accounting firm, PwC, where she focused on US tax consulting.
