COSTA MESA, Calif. - June 21, 2019 - PRLog -- The Woman's Club was incorporated in 1910. It started as a sewing circle in 1910 in the home of Alice Plumer. The ladies called it "The Friday Afternoon Club." Its founding members set about to improve the cultural and educational opportunities of the community by supporting and funding a variety of civic improvement efforts for the city of Costa Mesa.

The legacy of service continues today by reaching out to an entirely different generation with opportunities for educational scholarships.

You are invited to read about the Woman's Club, preview upcoming events, learn about opportunities for membership, meet our governing board, and find information about the planned future rental of the historic Clubhouse.

The creator of the new website, Amelia Painter, worked hand-in-hand with photographer Matt Fitt to obtain high-quality professional photographs of the members, the governing board, and the facility itself.  Fitt's photographs from Women's Club meetings capture member experiences in candid, highly engaged scenes. His facility photos focus on dramatic lighting, when possible, and showcase the building in a manner that is both welcoming and inviting.

The new website can be accessed at https://cmwomensclub.com.
