Lookalikes, Celebrities, Sports People & Charities came together at Seaford event on Sunday Sept 1st

HUGE SEPTEMBER CHARITY FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT RAISES OVER £2500 FOR 4 CHARITIES. The event was a collaboration of ideas from local Sussex business Chandlers Building Supplies, Seaford Town Football Club and Celeb FC.

SEAFORD, U.K. - Sept. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- The tournament supported the Teenage Cancer Trust, Rainy Days Trust, Variety Children's Charity and Seaford based WOLO Foundation.

From the 10 amazing teams who took part, #Teamlookalikes most definitely brought the fun element with the crowds cheering on the likes of Prince Harry, George Best, Kate Moss, Pamela Anderson, Jason Statham, Rory McIlroy, Mbappe, Harry Hill, Sam Allardyce and David Beckham out on the pitch, with Mrs Brown in goal, all being expertly managed by Simon Cowell.

Celeb FC, managed by Seaford based actor Jason Burrill, did very well in the competition. Which was tough as the other teams which included two Chandlers Building Supplies teams, two Seaford Town FC Veterans teams and Newhaven ladies veterans team HRT UTD, who were formidable opponents! However Celeb FC did have an amazing goalie in ITV presenter Rob Lamarr, who was with Semi-Pro Footballers – Paul "Jigga" Shelock and Dean "Macca" McAteer, The Apprentice 2017's Danny Grant, Celeb FC Sponsor Sollie Harding and Brighton legends Gary Hart and Kerry Mayo.

Local band Rough Justice kept the crowds entertained throughout the day with some great music, joined by Celeb FC teammates Craig Harvey and Wayne Woodward (BGT) who gave a fantastic performance just before the tournament winners were announced.

Simon Cowell Lookalike and Manager of #TeamLookalikes, Andy Penfold added "I am very proud to have been involved with this event. Teamlookalikes are a group of people who travel from all over the UK for these events, in fact George Best flew over from Ireland just to be here to support this.  It's important to Celeb FC that  we always meet the charities we are supporting and on Sunday all the team had photos with Cancer survivor, Fler Wright, Founder of WOLO (We Only Live Once) who was at the event with her amazing family".

Karin Flower, Founder of Celeb FC said, " After a hard-fought tournament, Celeb FC faced off against the Wolo Foundation team for the winner's trophy. Celeb FC won the tournament, But the true winners for the day are of course the charities and that is exactly as it should be. We are so grateful to everyone who has enabled this event to take place and are delighted to have been instrumental in creating something so fun and worthwhile along with out 2019 Kit sponsors Chandlers Building Supplies and Seaford Town FC".
