South Carolina State University Launches Wearable Contactless Payment to Higher Ed and Alumni

ATLANTA - Sept. 6, 2019 - PRLog -- The South Carolina State University (SCSU) system in conjunction with the SCSU Advancement Foundation announced its partnership today with Square1 Flex™ ("SQ1 Flex"), the leading provider of event and community security reloadable cashless solutions, to provide its Square1 Flex Enablement Platform™ for higher education campuses and systems.

The students, alumni, and faculty will leverage the wearable, physical contactless card, and mobile app backed by an FDIC insured account allowing for direct deposit, ACH, and peer to peer transfers for secure frictionless global payment, on or off campus.  The Square1 Flex Enablement Platform™ enables both the user and the institution to stay connected via a complete branded solution at the tap of a wrist with university logos and colors emblazoned on the wearable, physical contactless card, and the mobile companion application.
