The day begins with Airds' legendary Scottish breakfast and closes with a sumptuous 5-course dinner. Between feasts, guests can do as little or as much as they like: relaxing by the fire with a good book, or exploring the beautiful surroundings on invigorating hill walks and bike rides.

Among the many activities to enjoy are wildlife watching, distillery tours, skiing at Glencoe and day trips to the islands of Mull and Iona.  Staff members are always on hand to advise guests on activities and attractions to suit their mood. Oban's winter festival (Nov 15 – 24) is a ten-day celebration of Argyll culture and community with reindeer parades, international and local performing acts, fire art, pipers and lantern parades. St Andrew's Day (Nov 30) is another highlight on Oban's autumn calendar, with a Scottish Food & Craft Market, Haggis Festival, Whisky Festival, Clootie Dumpling competition, Ceilidh, and the St Andrew's Day Tartan Dash.
