PRLog -- Children do in fact estrange their parents; distancing from their lives, this can bring tragic events in a variety of ways, including possible broken fellowship/relationship with God and added suffering during people's lifetimes - "... Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me." (2 Corinthians 12:7 - God "allowed" the messenger of torment). Why would I quote this scripture? Because, it shows that God does indeed act on issues of self-pride or actually any sin. God's actions against such things can begin occurring during our natural, physical lifetimes. That's just a scare tactic used by Christians one might ask? This is an often used resort atheists use in saying God's own Words are scare tactics. I would say however, that a person who claims this, will literally and unavoidably have to take this issue up with the God they don't believe in (Philippians 2:10). In this free streaming audio, the subject of children estranging from their parent(s) for various reasons is addressed. I don't speak that much about spiritual consequences but I keep it on a level, in which reasons for estrangement are discussed and the fact that in some cases, parents can also be a cause for child estrangement. Scriptures are quoted to show that The Lord Jesus Christ, prophesied in-depth on the fact that estrangement events would occur exponentially, very near to His Second Coming.
