Follow on Google News | Former Miss Texas Latina to take on State Pageant DirectorshipNatalia Castillo-Ware of Houston is the new State Director for the Miss Texas Latina and Miss Teen Texas Latina competitions in the Miss U.S. Latina® national pageant system.
Natalia arrived in the USA at age 18 and in 2012 received her B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Houston. Originally from Colombia, she takes pride in her Latin heritage and cultural traditions, while at the same time embracing her adopted state of Texas's culture and heritage. A social connector and female motivator like no other, the high-spirited Natalia brings along with her a wealth of knowledge about Event Planning, Women Empowerment, Leadership, Fitness and Nutrition. She is excited and passionate to continue to use her forces to further empower Latina women in America. "I am very happy that Natalia accepted the important Texas directorship in our program," said Pageant President and Founder Acirema Alayeto. "She's done a fantastic job as our Houston director and we got to appreciate her many excellent traits that will serve her well in the challenging position of state director. The young women who will be participating in the state pageants under her directorship will have an amazing role model to inspire and assist them in their personal growth and development," The Miss Texas Latina and Miss Teen Texas Latina competitions are open to unmarried young women of Latina or Hispanic heritage between the ages of 14-17 and 18-27 residing, working or studying in the state.
