Kinzie Chophouse, a Chicago Favorite Steakhouse of 29 years, Gets a Makeover for the New Decade

CHICAGO - Feb. 8, 2020 - PRLog -- After months of planning and two weeks of fast paced construction, powerhouse couple Nicole Flevaris and Andreas Tsakonas have reopened the doors to the newly renovated Kinzie Chophouse. This beloved Chicago Steakhouse in River North has undergone renovations to the dining room; but perhaps the most evident change is the completely remodeled bar lounge that nods towards the building's history, all while having a modern feel that welcomes all. Built in the 1870's, it is the first building in Chicago to have steel beams and Flevaris states, "you have to respect the bones of this gem to truly do it justice. I feel that we breathed new life into Kinzie and it also reflects us."

The duo took over Kinzie Chophouse in July and have been updating the menu without compromising the classics. The restaurant is still both female and independently owned and hasn't lost its pleasant neighborhood charm. "It's somewhere you can have your business meetings or take your family, with great food and atmosphere at a reasonable price" states Tsakonas.

"We wanted to give a five star dining experience without the five star prices," says Flevaris. Together, with Nicole's unique style and Andreas' extensive restaurant experience in Greece, they have revamped Kinzie Chophouse and have made it the first Chicago steakhouse with a Greek gastronomy influence.
