Reports on Russian trade in goods with European countries in 2019

MOSCOW, Russian Federation - March 2, 2020 - PRLog -- Russian Foreign Trade has released the reports on Russia's foreign trade in goods with the countries of Europe in 2019.

A brief review of Russia's trade with European countries in 2019

The share of European countries in Russia's total trade (exports and imports) declined from 51.88% in 2018 to 50.67% in 2019.

The share of European countries in Russia's total exports declined from 54.43% in 2018 to 53.46% in 2019.

The share of European countries in Russia's total imports declined rose from 47.08% in 2018 to 45.83% in 2019.

The major trading partners of Russia in Europe in 2019:

- The top ten Russia's trade partners in Europe in 2019 were Germany (7.9755% of Russia's total foreign trade), the Netherlands (7.3162%), Belarus (5.0027%), Italy (3.7867%), and Poland (2.6297%);

- The top ten Russia's export markets in Europe in 2019 were the Netherlands (10.5940% of Russia's total exports), Germany (6.6346%), Belarus (4.8595%), Italy (3.3923%), and the United Kingdom (3.1365%);

- The top ten Russia's import suppliers from Europe in 2019 were Germany (10.3010% of Russia's total imports), Belarus (5.2509%), Italy (4.4706%), France (3.5123%), and Poland (2.0837%).

The most notable changes in Russia's trade with the countries of Europe in 2019 over 2018:

- The share of Poland in Russia's total exports declined from 3.6759% in 2018 to 2.9445% in 2019;
- The share of the United Kingdom in Russia's total exports rose from 2.1570% in 2018 to 3.1365% in 2019;
- The share of Ukraine in Russia's total exports declined from 2.1163% in 2018 to 1.5657% in 2019.
