Recruiting Specialists Host Free Collegiate Recruiting Seminar For High School Athletes

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - March 5, 2020 - PRLog -- Enlightenment Recruiting Seminar, A Master Course on College Athletic Recruiting, is open to all area athletes from any sport. Space is limited to the first 150 registered student-athletes and their parents.

"Being educated on the process is the most important part of being recruited," says retired NFL Defensive End and Modernday Fitness owner, Otis Leverette. "Are you in a good position academically? Do you have the proper core GPA? What did you score on the ACT? We want to educate athletes and parents about how these variables truly affect your ability to be recruited."

The free seminar will begin with a discussion on NCAA academic entrance requirements and information about ACT/SAT testing. The seminar will then focus on candid conversations with athletes and parents about talent evaluations, character development, and educating players about the personal responsibilities required to be considered for a scholarship.

"Our panel will include a standardized testing specialist, college coaches, area high school coaches, and former college athletes that have successfully navigated the process. Parents and athletes will leave with all the resources they need to be knowledgeable about recruiting" explained 6A State Champion Head Coach, Rueben Nelson of Ramsay High School.
