Board-certified plastic surgeon 'Dr. Scottsdale' still taking care of clients by telemedicine

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - March 25, 2020 - PRLog -- As shelter-in-place orders in some states leave only essential services operating during the coronavirus pandemic, one local plastic surgeon is temporarily pivoting to focus on virtual consultation and an online store.

Plastic surgeon "Dr. Scottsdale,"  or Dr. Carlos Mata, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and owner of Natural Results Plastic Surgery (7930 E. Thompson Peak Parkway, Suite 101). With the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the nation and clinics everywhere closing their doors to stop the spread of the infectious disease, Dr. Scottsdale has opted for his team to continue seeing patients through virtual medicine technology. Adding consultations and post-op follow-ups via virtual medicine will allow his cosmetic surgery clinic to continue operating while keeping his staff and patients safe and cared for.

"We are committed to keeping our office open to support anyone still looking for a consultation or in need of support after surgery," Dr. Scottsdale said. "We want to put our post-op patients' minds at ease by making them aware that we are available for them virtually throughout this pandemic and in-person if they need to be seen urgently."

In addition to remaining open for virtual appointments during the coronavirus outbreak, Dr. Scottsdale aims to keep his business afloat by opening a new online store featuring a range of curated, high-quality skincare products.

"I love my amazing staff and want to keep them employed by keeping our doors open virtually," he said. "The governor of Arizona has mandated that no elective surgeries be performed, causing major challenges for our business structure. My hope is to continue supporting my team by opening up new revenue streams to meet these challenges. I don't want anyone to go without pay during this difficult time."

In addition to supporting his own team and patients, Dr. Scottsdale is donating critical medical supplies to area hospitals fighting the COVID-19 outbreak.

"I'm passionate about giving back and am looking for whatever ways I can to help during this crisis," he said.
