Justice Doll Provides Children with the Inspiration to Serve as a Superhero

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - May 2, 2020 - PRLog -- The story began with Dr. Artika Tyner, founder of Planting People Growing Justice™ Leadership Institute (PPGJLI). Tyner authored the book "Justice Makes a Difference: The Story of Miss Freedom Fighter, Esquire" that won the 2018 Purple Dragonfly Book Award. The tale has now culminated with the completion of the Justice doll, the main character in the book.

"Our new Justice doll is now available for sale," said Tyner. "All of the proceeds from each purchase will support the educational programming of Planting People Growing Justice™ Leadership Institute. Planting People Growing Leadership Institute seeks to plant seeds of social change through education, training, and community outreach."

The book of Miss Freedom Fighter, Esquire provides children with stories of real life superheroes that have made a difference throughout history. Children learn about inclusion and diversity, along with equity in their communities as a whole through the moving stories of people that have changed the world.

The black dolls are a perfect accompaniment to the book as children learn about culture, differences, and social justice. Children need heroes that reflect themselves, that they can emulate, and topics that inspire them. The book provides an education in diversity, presented in an interesting and intriguing way.

"Our new children's book character, Justice, inspires young people to make a difference in the world," said Tyner. "They are reminded that you are never too young to serve in the community whether it be tutoring younger students in school or helping someone in need."

Justice the doll looks just like the main character and is a subtle reminder that youngsters can make a difference through their words, actions, and deeds. The Justice doll is an easy and fun way for children to see themselves as superheroes (https://planting-people-growing-justice-leadership-instit...) and dream of something bigger beyond themselves for the betterment of all, while proceeds will be utilized to support the ongoing educational programs of PPGJLI.
