Indonesia: Ripe for Franchise Brand Expansion

GURUGRAM, India - Sept. 17, 2020 - PRLog -- Spire Deputy CEO Jeffrey Bahar and Advisor Yogi Priyantoro discussed franchising opportunities and upcoming trends in Indonesia at the recent virtual business event held by the Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore).

The Franchising and Licensing Association (FLA)(Singapore) organised a virtual business matching event, Expanding your Franchise in Indonesia, on 8 September 2020. Part of the programme was a webinar that brought together experts and prospective investors. Topics discussed include legal insights, importance of using Bahasa Indonesia for documentation, and market entry strategies.

Spire DCEO Jeffrey Bahar and Advisor Yogi Priyantoro were on the webinar's panel of experts. Jeffrey talked about how the industries are adjusting to the new normal in the emerging market landscape. He also revealed potential sectors, such as food and beverage, early childhood education and hospitality, that have much promise for franchise expansion in Indonesia.

Yogi gave an overview of the new strategies used by Indonesian businesses, with examples, including how F&B manufacturers have introduced family size packaging. Digitisation has also been ramped up in the health and lifestyle sectors, he said.
