New Releases from Cozy Cat Press

AURORA, Ill. - Sept. 19, 2020 - PRLog -- Publisher Patricia Rockwell of Cozy Cat Press, announced today the release of four new books for lovers of gentle or "cozy" mysteries.

First is "Doggone Murder" by new author Nancy Smith Gibson. This delightful adventure caper follows a young woman and her elderly female hitchhiker companion on their numerous adventures--all which begin with the unexpected adoption of a friendly mutt that joins their trip and refuses to leave. Along the way, they witness murder and mayhem, and the little dog is right there for it all!

Veteran author Diane Weiner's latest adventure "Murder Is Universal" in her Susan Wiles Schoolhouse Mystery series, occurs high in the skies as Susan and her traveling companion are surprised to find a dead body in the seat between them while taking a flight.  Never one to leave things to authorities, Susan gets right to work to find out how the man died--as she is convinced it is murder!

Laura Shea's new book "Murder in the Wings" taps into her interest in theater and gives a double meaning to the term "wings" of the title, as the victim in this book seems to have been stung by a bee, backstage at a small college theater.  Shea's knowledge of her subject matter will engage the reader and have them wondering if the young woman's death is an accident or murder.

New author Kathy Johnston brings her knowledge of elementary school life to bear in her mystery "Fatal Lesson."  In this engaging tale, the principal of a small school is found dead at her desk with a knife in her back.  No doubt it is murder, but who could have committed the crime?  It seems that most all of the teachers hated the woman.
