Halfacre Construction Company appoints new assistant project manager

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. - Oct. 7, 2020 - PRLog -- Halfacre Construction Company, a Lakewood Ranch-based commercial construction company, recently hired Brian Berges as an assistant project manager at its Lakewood Ranch headquarters.

A new graduate, Berges brings several years of experience working in a variety of roles within large corporations. In his new position, he will be assigned to assist with the $28 million R.L. Anderson Administration Center renovation project in Venice, Fla.

Prior to joining the commercial construction company, he assisted as a sales management intern for Pepsico's Frito Lay division. During his internship, he managed a group of employees and developed methods to improve their sales execution and completed a project to increase incremental sales and improve execution within select stores.

Berges also worked as a human resources intern and sourcing and logistics intern for Mauser Corp., a worldwide leading provider of industrial packaging.

Proficient in Spanish, Berges also serves as a Spanish tutor and provides one-on-one sessions to students seeking to learn to speak, read and write the Spanish language.

He earned a bachelor's degree in agribusiness management with a minor in entrepreneurship and innovation from The Pennsylvania State University.
