Before earning their Ph.D.s, both Drs. Mishra worked at General Motors in HR and manufacturing engineering. Their GM work experience, as well as their roles as startup and tech entrepreneurs, corporate executives in sales and marketing, board members, and leadership consultants enable them to help their students make connections to executives and effectively navigate the job search process. "We have always enjoyed helping students in their job search process", said Dr. Aneil Mishra. "We have had wonderful mentors ourselves over the years, and now we enjoy helping our students identify and use their strengths to make career connections and move closer toward their dream job." Aneil is the Thomas D. Arthur Distinguished Professor of Leadership in the College of Business at ECU. To enlarge this mission, 10% of the profits will go towards the Mishra's new non-profit, the Trust Network©. "We created the Trust Network© years ago as a way to maintain connections with alumni from each school where we have taught; we have now turned it into a nonprofit. This will serve students who need extra help navigating the job search process, such as first-generation students and students who don't have access to the connections in our Trust Network©," said Dr. Karen Mishra. She is Associate Professor in the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business at Campbell University.
