Enjoy Dessert While Helping Kids and Families at Duke Hospital

DURHAM, N.C. - Nov. 26, 2019 - PRLog -- Preston's League is hosting its first annual "Save Room for Dessert" fundraiser at Croasdaile Country Club on Sunday December 8th from 1:30-3:30 p.m.  Bring your family and sample desserts from chefs all over the Triangle, all while helping fund weekly personalized wish lists for kids who are being treated on the bone marrow transplant floor at Duke Hospital.  Every week, each family has $25 to "spend" at Target, where Preston's League shoppers get what they request on their "wish list."  All money raised by Preston's League goes directly to help children and families at Duke Hospital.

There will be gluten-free desserts for those with celiac and gluten intolerance.  There will be cookie decorating for kids and other holiday crafts.  There will also be raffle items, including a signed basketball and a poster by the Duke University men's varsity team.
