Local Diversity Consultants Achieve Certified Diversity Executive® Certification

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - Feb. 8, 2021 - PRLog -- Top RANK Managing Partners Anthony Arrington and Nick Ford recently achieved Certified Diversity Executive® certification through the Institute for Diversity Certification (IDC). The CDE® Certification focuses on sixteen key competencies, including topics such as managing biases and blind spots, global best practices, race, power, privilege and more. Candidates must master the curriculum on each topic, before finally completing an exam. Top RANK Managing Partners completed the certification process in 2020, joining an elite group of Certified Diversity Executives® globally.

Both Arrington and Ford have extensive professional backgrounds where they witnessed major lack of diversity firsthand, especially in leadership. It was these long-standing issues and personal intersectionality that led them to the equity, diversity, inclusion, and engagement (EDI&E) space. "I'm a Black man with a disability, my wife is white, we have biracial children and Latinx family members. My business partner is a Navy veteran with a disability," Managing Partner, Anthony Arrington said. "So the education received in the CDE® certification program is very important to us on a personal level, as well as professionally. " Even with all this personal experience, there is still an opportunity to learn and grow.

Continuing education is important in every field, and that is certainly the case when it comes to EDI&E.
