Follow on Google News | 27th Annual General H. Norman Schwarzkopf Memorial Sporting Classic Benefitting CHNBy: Children's Home Network Known as one of the premier events of its kind and one of the largest in the State of Florida, the day includes a delicious breakfast, commemorative giveaways, lunch, and our awards ceremony. Participants and spectators will be able to partake in the card draw for a chance to win fabulous prizes including outdoor equipment, airline tickets and more. Thanks to the hard work of the volunteer event committee and the continuing support of the Schwarzkopf family, this event has raised over $2.5 million for Children's Home Network since 1995. Following General Schwarzkopf's untimely passing in late 2012, it was warmly and unanimously decided to rename this event in his honor. The Children's Home Network is Tampa's oldest continuously run charity, founded in 1892. With the generous support of the Tampa Bay community, it has been our honor to be a safe haven for foster children for over 128 years. We remain committed to healing children from the trauma of abuse and neglect, while improving lives and changing life stories. We look forward to a day of fun at the 27th Annual General H. Norman Schwarzkopf Memorial Sporting Clays Classic, benefiting the Children's Home Network! Team registration, individual sign-up, and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, including extra golf cart rentals for an additional cost.
