BPA Platform Selected for Epicor Kinetic Integration

Clear Business Outcome signs partnership deal with Codeless Platforms

POOLE, U.K. - Oct. 13, 2021 - PRLog -- Codeless Platforms today announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Clear Business Outcome, a premium Epicor partner and reseller. Clear Business Outcome will now be using BPA Platform for future Epicor Kinetic integration projects to help manufacturing, engineering and distribution businesses streamline their processes and increase efficiency.

"Many of our customers struggle to maintain their integration processes with the standard solution they have installed. As a result, they constantly need our support. This scenario was great for us as a consulting business, but our fundamental role is to try and allow customers to empower themselves; to have the ability to manage the product that they have and not rely on consultancy the whole time, which can obviously be quite an expensive approach," explained Neil Holdsworth, Consulting Director, Clear Business Outcome.

"Therefore, having something like BPA Platform at our disposal, which is next generation and a lot simpler to maintain and manage, gives our customer base an alternative option to that which is currently available. That was the most important thing and my core consideration when selecting BPA Platform and partnering with Codeless Platforms."

"Additionally, now that Epicor is moving to the cloud with its new Kinetic version and bringing out an Application Studio, it is opening up low-code and no-code development opportunities. The fact that BPA Platform is also low/no code, and Codeless Platforms is taking a similar approach and methodology, seems to dovetail quite nicely into this approach – removing the reliance on programmers and technology experts."

Founded in 2010 by Damien Sullivan, Epicor's former VP of Consulting, Clear Business Outcome's customers are predominantly based in the UK, but it also has customers in Australia, France, Germany, Middle East and USA.

"For the first seven years of the business, we were purely consulting partners with Epicor. We didn't sell any software, we just grew the business from professional services. However, four years' ago, Epicor convinced us to become a VAR and we've been selling the software ever since," said Neil Holdsworth.

"We have a lot of customers that want to implement machine integration, warehouse integration and CRM integration (https://www.codelessplatforms.com/blog/crm-integration-sa...) with Epicor Kinetic. REST API was therefore a necessity when we were considering a solution. It's now the standard for Epicor going forward and it's becoming more prevalent across the board with other products. Consequently, selecting a middleware solution that could sit between two REST systems was very important," revealed Neil Holdsworth.

"I also think the fact that, pricing wise, you get a set number of tasks as a starting point with BPA Platform (https://www.codelessplatforms.com/connectors/epicor-erp-i...), there's plenty of opportunity to develop solutions for customers without it becoming too costly."
