STUDIO CITY, Calif. - Nov. 4, 2021 - PRLog -- A self-funded project while in development for the last 6 months, Mr. Derakhshan has a knack for knowing other entrepreneurs that are not in the film business. As the story goes, he was getting rid of excess power tools on Facebook Marketplace, and sold them to a gentleman who would later become one of the primary financial backers. The backer also served as Advertising and Marketing Consultant, previously holding like titles for an Emmy winning production team he founded a decade ago. And so began Waiting for the Bus.

Within 2 weeks, the film-formatted screenplay was overhauled with many writer's group public reads and at that point, producers started stepping into the role of management of the product into a deliverable towards production.

How to describe this upcoming movie? A story about a man waiting at a bus stop, but for what? We don't know since we haven't seen the script yet but from what we understand the film is about Los Angeles; the people, their personalities, the attitude. What the character is searching for is sure to be a surprise to all. A quip has been said that it's Waiting for Godot (https://lithub.com/why-we-keep-waiting-for-godot/) but at a bus stop.

While film producing is filled with uncertainty as a business venture, Mr. Derakhshan likes to gamble on himself and has won many awards and film distribution deals in the process.

Derakhshan defines home as the beautiful city of Los Angeles, California.
