OKLAHOMA CITY - Dec. 1, 2021 - PRLog -- Oklahoma Palliative & Hospice Care is proud to have been awarded Partner Level Two with the We Honor Veterans (WHV) Community Partner program. The WHV partners recognize the unique needs of America's veterans and their families. The WHV program levels foster an obligation to provide the best quality of care to those who have served our country. The care-team members are committed to improving care for Oklahoma's veterans. Oklahoma Palliative & Hospice Care has the ability and resources to support the patient when there are specific needs related to the veteran's military service, combat experience or other traumatic events.

"To serve the needs of our veterans and their families, our end-of-life experts have received top-level training and education. Ongoing training enables our team members to provide specialized care to our veterans facing life-limiting illness. Our priority at Oklahoma Palliative & Hospice Care is to identify, evaluate, and meet the needs of our veterans and their families from the start of care through bereavement services. Many thanks to our staff for their contributions which ensure we succeed in connecting and serving Veterans," said Ma'Toya Fleming, Counseling Services Manager.

Founded on Christian principles, Oklahoma Palliative & Hospice Care is an independently operated organization dedicated to palliative and hospice care. The organization's purpose is to meet and exceed industry standards and patient expectations, focusing on each patient's medical, emotional, and spiritual needs, while guiding them through their end-of-life journey.

We appreciate the work of  Ma'Toya Fleming, Counseling Services Manager, in helping to reach and support veterans," said Phillip Hill, Chief Executive Officer.
