Homeless Single Mom's Christmas Wish is to Help Other Women

HIGH POINT, N.C. - Dec. 8, 2021 - PRLog -- Amanda Nicole is a single mom currently in a vicious child support and child custody battle. For 2 years she's been fighting for justice with the court system for her and her daughter. Her ex-husband a military vet has been collecting military disability on behalf of her and her daughter for 7 years even though they are divorced, and her daughter has been living with her full-time. Her ex managed to get visitation despite his drug abuse and lack of and/or inconsistency with his PTSD treatment since he has an attorney, and she is representing herself. The unreasonable visitation schedule implemented by the judge, made her already difficult job search after being unemployed due to the pandemic even harder. And after 2 years of fighting, she still hasn't received a ruling on child support of any kind. Now she and her daughter are homeless. When asked what she wants for Christmas, Amanda responds that she just wants to be able to help other women.

At the start of the pandemic, Amanda started a company called Freedom Through Divorce. It's an online store with courses and products for women of faith considering or recovering from divorce. "No one knows better than me just how difficult the divorce process can be. But despite its difficulty, our children need us to stand up and fight for what is right. God has given us authority over our children to protect them from harm. I help women of faith who are staying in toxic and/or abusive marriages because they've been told that God hates divorce. Meanwhile both they and their children and suffering in silence. If I can bring more awareness to this subject and help more women through my online store this holiday season, that would be the best Christmas gift I could even ask for! I know that God will take care of me and my daughter.

The company has received only limited attention, so Amanda says that she doesn't want a go fund me, or anything like that, she just wants the opportunity to speak to women of God who are in toxic emotionally, verbally, or physically abusive marriages. "Yes, God does hate divorce, but He hates it because the need to get one points to the fact that you married someone that wasn't His choice for you. Don't condemn yourself to a life with your pick for yourself. Free yourself and your children so that you can discover the life that God chose for you."
