New Aging-in-Place Virtual Series Gives Older Adults Direct Access to Experts

WASHINGTON - Jan. 17, 2022 - PRLog -- The National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) and MyHealthAngel (MHA) have established a new partnership to help Americans proactively prepare for aging and aging-in-place. Beginning in January, attendees can direct questions to medical, legal, and housing experts at complimentary virtual events.

"We are excited about this partnership between NAIPC and MyHealthAngel. Our members look forward to addressing the needs of individuals who may not know where to turn for trusted advice ," said Tara Ballman, Executive Director at NAIPC.

On Monday, January 24 at 4 pm EST, David Neuman, MD FAAOS and Vicki Gold, PT MA will answer health-related questions at "Monday Health Q&A: Got Health Questions? We Have Answers!"

Neuman is owner and clinical director of NY Sportscare in New York City. He attended Cornell University and completed medical school at the State University of New York, Health Science Center at Brooklyn. Neuman currently runs a concierge orthopedic practice in Manhattan.

Gold is a retired physical therapist, educator, and trainer with a background in mind-body systems including yoga, tai chi, Pilates, Alexander and Feldenkrais Techniques. Gold promotes improved safety, fitness, and functionality through proper alignment, breathing, and centering.

On Monday, January 31 at 4 pm EST, Madison Gunn, associate attorney at Absolute Trust Counsel PC, will address the top 10 questions associated with estate planning at Legacy Planning 101. Gunn handles trust administration and probate for her firm and is chair of the San Francisco Bay Area NAIPC Chapter.

MyHealthAngel offers a technical team to assist attendees with computer and/or connectivity issues. The team will open the Zoom link 10 minutes before each event and, if necessary, will call the attendees directly to assist.
