Bullseye Packaging Services & Recurve Solutions Donate to Julia's Junction Accessible Play Space

CALGARY, Alberta - Feb. 3, 2022 - PRLog -- Bullseye Packaging Services & Recurve Solutions, leading providers of specialized secondary co-packing services and proponent of accessible community play spaces is giving back to the community with a donation of $2,500 from each company to Julia's Junction.

The project was inspired by Julia, who was paralyzed by a blood clot when she was just 17 months old.  Now in Grade 2, Julia is a vibrant, smart, active, and social girl who uses a manual wheelchair to get around.  She loves to get outside to play with her friends.  Unfortunately, due to the lack of inclusive play space in her West Kelowna, BC community, she struggles physically and emotionally in an inaccessible environment.

The vision is to create a destination play space for people of all ages to enjoy, regardless of their physical or cognitive ability, or medical diagnosis; to establish a truly inclusive environment where everyone can play and interact together without barriers.

Stephen Peters, President of both Bullseye Packaging Services and Recurve Solutions, wanted to show corporate support right away.

"The need is clear for our communities to build inclusive play spaces for everyone and their caregivers.  Bullseye and Recurve want to be a part of promoting this initiative and we are putting the challenge out there to other companies in our network and beyond, to contribute as well."

Melissa Grassmick is spearheading Julia's Junction initiative and was ecstatic to receive the contributions from both companies.

"If we continue to receive donations like Bullseye's and Recurve's we can start to build the play space as early as Spring of 2023 but we need to raise $250,000 in order to make this happen.  We hope the challenge Stephen and his companies are putting forth will help others join our cause and contribute to what is completely achievable!"
