Follow on Google News | Kathryn Shipley releases the next song off her upcoming album! What if someone could walk a year in your boots, what story would they tell? Kathryn Shipley releases "If These Boots Could Talk" a song off her upcoming album.
By: Cavalla Records, LLC. When Shipley was asked about her upcoming release of If These Boots Could Talk, she said," Getting this song was such a God Wink, I pretty much "thought" I had picked out the songs I wanted for this album, and I was in the middle of actually writing back songwriters, who pitched to me for this album, when I got a text from Ava's mom, Angie asking what kind of songs are you looking for? Ava has one called, "If these Boots could talk" you might like. After reading the lyrics, and hearing the demo for it, I fell in love with it and it also became the name of my album, because it really encompasses each song on this album. One of the verses says, Dusty Leather shade of red, perfect size 6, now mind you I am not a size 6, but these dusty leather shade of red boots I have had for almost 5 years have had a lot of stories within them. Very excited, hope this new song will touch each one of you, like a brushstroke on canvas. A thing of beauty!" This song was written by Ava Paige and Jayne Sachs. Ava Paige recalls, "I bought an old pair of worn-out boots and thought about the story they'd tell if they could talk. I know I wear mine 24/7 so they have seen it all." Jayne Sachs says, "If you have a favorite pair of boots, chances are they have lived some life with you. They may have helped you step into happy times of feeling so young and in love, and they may have been there to walk you away from hurt and regret. When we were writing "If These Boots Could Talk", we pictured all of that and tried to tell the story of one girl's love and loss".
