JMA Vocal Competition Winner Ricky Gunter Song Release!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Feb. 27, 2022 - PRLog -- The Josie Music Awards' first all-ages vocal competition was held at the Country Tonite Theatre with a total of twelve music artists competing for that winning spot. The top twelve were selected from video auditions sent in during the online submission period from approximately 250 entries. The first JMA Vocal Competition was won by music artist Ricky Gunter who was selected by the panel of judges during his live audition.

Gunter won a song recording at the legendary OmniSound Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. His song will be distributed to all online platforms and radio by Cavalla Records on February 28, 2022. Gunter's song titled; Half A Man showcases his incredible vocals, and he delivers it with enormous emotion.

Ricky Gunter grew up in a small town with a population of about 4,000 people. He has lived each day chasing his dream of performing music. His mother, his biggest influence, taught him how to harmonize by singing all day long during his childhood. His dad, forever a good ole country boy, was also instrumental in steering Ricky into the country music scene.
