Award-Winning Artists Perform Together for a Cause!

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - March 23, 2021 - PRLog -- Cavalla Records' artist Kathryn Shipley and Jackson Snelling, who was recently seen in the judges' round of American Idol auditions, will perform for the upcoming Annual Dinner and Awards banquet for The Sparrow's Nest Maternity Home on Friday, May 7, 2021. The event is planning for a sold-out crowd that will be entertained by these two incredibly talented award-winning artists. The performances will also include beautiful duets between Kathryn and Jackson.

The Sparrow's Nest Maternity Home is a 501c3 non-profit located in O'Fallon, Missouri. The Nest is a longer-term housing option for pregnant and parenting teen moms and their children. Their mission is to embrace the God-given dignity of all human life by empowering young moms and their children to realize their full potential.

The Sparrow Soiree Annual Fundraising Dinner and Awards has been a staple event for The Sparrow's Nest since the program began. It has always been a Sparrow family tradition to look back over the past year, celebrate the accomplishments of the residents, show gratitude for the volunteers, as well as raise funds for programming. This year will also be the celebration for the re-opening of the program since its halt 6 months ago because of the Covid pandemic.

Kathryn Shipley, also known as "KShip" is a true artist as she creates from her heart and navigates back and forth between the country music and Christian contemporary genres. With many notable awards under her belt since 2017, she is one of the fastest-growing independent artists in her respective genres.

Jackson Snelling is a singer, songwriter, and pianist.  Jackson works in multi-genres including Pop, Classic Rock, Country, and R& B. He is a recent JMA winner and is referred to as a storyteller because of his strong songwriting skills.  Storyteller is fittingly the title of his current album.
