ALPHARETTA, Ga. - March 7, 2022 - PRLog -- All For One Foundation, http://www.allforone.org a Georgia based International Non-Profit is proud to recognize the contributions of Josephine Kanzira for her efforts to improve the lives of vulnerable orphaned and abandoned children. Her dream was to create a supportive sustainable environment where children could thrive while receiving the education necessary to break the cycle of poverty in the developing world, one child at a time. Her partnership with All For One Foundation visionary philanthropist, Jeff Levitan led to the creation of the Kajoma Child Prosperity Center in Kampala, Uganda.

Born in the Mulago Kawempe Division, Kampala District, in Central Uganda, Josephine married at 17 and gave birth to six children before immigrating to the United States with her family in 2002.  Josephine earned a certificate in nursing and worked as a nursing assistant, eventually opening her own Home Health Care Agency. In 2004 Josephine's husband left the young family and she assumed sole responsibility for supporting six minor children. It was during this period of her life that she became acutely aware of the deepening HIV/Aids crisis and its devastating effects on children in her home country.

In 2005 Josephine opened her former home in the Village of Kyengera Wakiso District, Kampala, Uganda to children orphaned by HIV/Aids. Working in the United States and raising her six children here, she stretched her income to provide for the children in Uganda.

In 2003, Josephine met Jeff Levitan and her passion and devotion to children on two continents combined with his vision led to the founding of the Kajoma Child Prosperity and Helen's Primary School. In early 2020 Josephine and Jeff with the support of the All For One Foundation and Locum Tenes Corporation, headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia completed the building that will house The Levitan Community Clinic to serve the Child Prosperity Center and the surrounding community.

According to the United Nations and UNICEF, the 2020 onset of the global Covid Pandemic is rolling back every measure of progress achieved for the benefit of children in poverty for the past seventy five years. This year alone the Kajoma Child Prosperity Center has opened its doors to over thirty additional children brought to them by police and Ugandan Social Services. In response, Josephine has added additional staff and begun the difficult task of contact tracing and family reunification for these children where possible.

The love of a single mother for children on two continents and the vision of a compassionate philanthropist created an important working model for sustainable childhood and family prosperity centers to begin to break the cycle of poverty through education, safe supportive environments and family reunification for children in the developing world.

The All For One Foundation, http://allforone.org proudly celebrates Josephine Kanzira.
