Unreasonable Kids College and Norfolk Police Department Partnering to Build and Encourage Next Generation of Kid-SuperheroesBy: Unreasonable Kids College Unreasonable Kids College founder and CEO Ateba Whitaker says, "The world is uncertain, but our classrooms and schools do not have to be. We have to give students some hope, an opportunity to see their potential to serve through real-life superheroes. National Superhero Day is a day to honor those that do. Still, it is also an opportunity to welcome our children's capacity to serve and love by letting them know that they too can be superheroes in their classrooms. The hope for the Superheroes Against Bullying Pop-up is to encourage our little superheroes to rise in the love of community and service, not only in their lived community but in how they show up in the classroom in their treatment of teachers and peers." It's important that students meet and interact with real-life superheroes in their community, like police officers, who protect them on a daily basis–dedicating their lives to helping others, saving lives, and serving as mentors. #NationalSuperHeroDay #NationalSuperHeroDay2022 #SuperHeroDay #SuperHeroes #UKC #NorfolkPD #NPD About Unreasonable Kids College: Unreasonable Kids College, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is a social, educational enterprise, training the next generation of kid-superheroes.
