By: Custom House Each exhibit is being carefully designed by a tech consortium led by TNS and Rypplzz, and will intentionally create a global conversation that drives positive impact within local communities. The ultimate goal for this year's Juneteenth celebration in Galveston is to drive engagement across a platform of community organizations focused on inclusivity, diversity, and justice for people of all backgrounds. The day's signature lineup will include: Mayor Craig Brown, Councilwoman Sharon V. Lewis; Dr. Greg Luhan (Ward D. Wells professor and Director of the School of Architecture at Texas A&M), Dean Dalton (Executive Director of NFL Alumni Academy), three time Grammy nominated recording artist, Tanya Nolan, and Gil Bellows (Actor on Shawshank Redemption and Jay Z's Women of Movement Docuseries). The integrated Web3 platform AwardPool is also a valued partner. "We are thrilled to work with The Galveston 1861 Customhouse Juneteenth Museum to help drive awareness, donations, membership and build a community through the Award Pool widget." says Brenda Cohen, Co-Founder and CMO of Award Pool. Dean Dalton, Executive Director of NFL Alumni Academy said, "This is the beginning of a journey, the first step was to design the museum, to engage the public via the virtual with monthly information drops and inviting the public to join us in our endeavors."
