Bay Area Community Favorite, The Solano Avenue Stroll, Returns to Celebrate its 46th Year

ALBANY, Calif. - Sept. 1, 2022 - PRLog -- The Solano Avenue Association will host their annual festival, The Solano Avenue Stroll on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM in the city of Albany and Berkeley, CA. Celebrating 46 years of The Solano Avenue Stroll, this event highlights the numerous small businesses, restaurants, artists, schools and non-profit organizations that make up the local community. This highly anticipated free event will provide a fun and memorable day for families from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

"We are extremely excited to bring back the Solano Avenue Stroll", stated Solano Avenue Association, Executive Director, Allen Cain. "Due to Covid-19 restrictions on large gatherings, we have been working diligently since 2019 to reconnect with our local community members and businesses."

The Solano Avenue Stroll is known as the East Bay area's largest street festival and serves over 100,000 families and community members. Activities for this year's street festival, include a micro parade, food and craft vendors, games, live music, a free shuttle and more. A complete map of the Stroll's activities can be found using the Solano Avenue year-round app, MOPO; including participating vendors, booth locations, entertainment schedule, even where to get your hot dog and kettle corn.

This year's sponsors include the City of Albany, City of Berkeley, Albany Subaru, Mechanics Bank, Pivot Point Commuter Hub, Waste Management, Andronico's Community Markets, Belmont Village Senior Living Albany and Gordo's Taqueria.
