The scary song that became a favorite among millions of fans has become an extension of the movie screen. The video musical film thriller was the first of its kind in the 80s, and made history in the music industry. It won eight Grammys, with one hundred million copies sold, and was the first album to be certified triple diamond.

In the year of 1981, the American supernatural horror film Evil Dead was released in theaters; written, and directed by Sam Raimi. The written anniversary of the song Thriller is on April 14th, and the original Evil Dead movie release anniversary is on April 15th. Is that a coincidence? The music video for the hit song Thriller was aired in December 1983, and a band called Dashade has made a promotional tribute for the song's anniversary.
