Follow on Google News | A multi-disciplinary designer integrates ecology and art into daily life to benefit body and mindBy: Dr. Lu's Studio A study published in [Science Advances] found that prolonged exposure to green plants may extend average lifespan by 2.5 years. Research by Professor Semir Zeki, a neurobiologist at the University of London, revealed that when individuals view art they find beautiful, it triggers dopamine release in the brain. Dr. Hung-Chih Lu's approach involves transforming entire spaces into works of art. He mentioned that AI has deeply penetrated various industries. While current AI architecture and interior design might be lacking and only serve as references in the free versions, the paid professional versions can automatically generate construction CAD drawings. It's just a matter of time before AI completely replaces conventional design methods. In figure 1, outdoor ecological landscapes are integrated with interior space design, creating indoor ecological spaces, especially in high-rise buildings where ground space is limited. Creating elaborate landscapes with trees, waterfalls, and rock features is relatively easy on the ground floor, but it becomes challenging to replicate on higher floors. Figure 1: https://drive.google.com/ In figure 2, the ceiling is used as a canvas, where artwork is painted onto it. Ceiling murals require looking upward, making the composition more concise to simplify the painting process. Even so, the ceiling is divided into 4x8=32 sections, each outlined with charcoal before painting. The left image in Image 2 combines the imagery of whales and rivers in an abstract art style, representing the "Ecological Rhythm," while the right image adopts a paper-cutting art style to portray "Cirrus Clouds and Blue Skies."
