 Anthony Geraci Announces New Album, 'Tears In My Eyes'Sophomore album on Blue Heart Records planned for April 2024 release
Anthony Geraci © Terence Lane Slaigle While on a five week European Tour in the fall of 2022, Geraci gathered his band for a session at Studio Faust Records in Prague, Czech Republic. Seven original tunes emerged from a full day of recording with engineer Derek Saxenmeyer. The remaining four tunes, for a total of eleven new originals penned by Geraci, were recorded in February 2023 at Wellspring Sound Studio in Acton, Massachusetts. An especially poignant instrumental, "Blues for Willie J," is dedicated to Geraci's former Proven Ones bandmate, the late Willie J. Campbell. "I speak on behalf of Betsie Brown and myself in welcoming Anthony back to Blue Heart Records for his exciting new project," says Sallie Bengtson, Blue Heart Records partner. "We are honored to continue our label relationship with such a dedicated and esteemed artist."
