Alten Construction begins remodel and modernization of Hogan Middle School

VALLEJO, Calif. - Aug. 16, 2023 - PRLog -- VALLEJO, Calif. — Alten Construction (https://www.altenconstruction.com/), a full-service San Francisco Bay Area commercial construction company, recently began the remodel and modernization of Hogan Middle School (https://www.vcusd.org/hogan), part of the Vallejo City Unified School District (https://www.vcusd.org/).

The $20 million modernization project includes new roofs, HVAC systems, extensive site work, landscaping, new basketball courts and new lockers. A remodel of the theater building, parking lots, theater seating and five bathrooms will also be part of the project.

The project launched last month and will be worked on in phases, with an estimated completion of summer 2024. During the phases, the campus will remain active amid construction.

Located at 850 Rosewood Ave. in Vallejo, the middle school enrolls roughly 824 students in sixth through eighth grade.
